Start with the model, not a guessed part
Have the complete Kenstar model number, approximate age and purchase or previous repair details ready. A brand name can cover very different designs, specifications and regional variants. Tell us whether the issue is constant or intermittent and which controls, lights or error codes appear.
We will discuss whether an inspection is appropriate for your appliance and location. Listing Kenstar here is an invitation to enquire, not a claim that every product or part is supported. Warranty work and manufacturer schemes should be taken up with the manufacturer.
Microwave oven types we can discuss
Solo microwave
Designed primarily for reheating, defrosting and microwave cooking. It does not provide the same browning as a grill or convection oven. Basic heating and turntable issues should be assessed against the model instructions.
Grill microwave
Adds a grill element for browning on supported programmes. Accessories and containers that suit one mode may not suit another. Use only the manufacturer-approved rack and programme combinations.
Convection microwave
Adds a fan and heater for convection cooking. A complaint may affect microwave heating, convection heating or both; tell us which mode fails. Door seals, airflow and temperature control remain important.
Built-in microwave
Cabinet ventilation and access can affect inspection or removal. Share the appliance dimensions and installation arrangement before a visit. Removal, refitting and cabinet work are not assumed to be included.
What the service may include
No heat diagnosis
A functioning light and turntable do not prove the heating circuit is working. Door interlocks, controls and high-voltage components require protected professional diagnosis. Do not request a component replacement based only on the symptom.
Sparking and door assessment
Stop use if sparking, smoke or door damage occurs. Food residue, unsuitable containers and cavity damage can be involved. A damaged shielding system or interlock must never be bypassed.
Turntable and control faults
The tray position and user settings can be checked without opening the cabinet. Internal motors, keypad circuits and control boards require model-compatible parts and inspection.
Convection and grill checks
Heating elements, fan operation and temperature control are evaluated for the selected mode. Confirm that the reported setting is supported by the appliance and explain whether preheating completes.
Symptoms, safe checks and diagnosis
| What you notice | Safe first step | What may need inspection |
|---|---|---|
| Runs but does not heat | Confirm the programme is not a timer-only setting; stop repeated testing. | A technician assesses interlocks and the heating system. |
| Sparks or burns | Stop the appliance and disconnect safely; do not use it again until assessed. | Container suitability, cavity condition and shielding need attention. |
| Plate does not rotate | With power disconnected, check that the tray sits correctly. | The drive coupler or motor may need inspection. |
| Door will not close properly | Do not force the door or run the oven. | Latch, hinge and interlock integrity require professional checks. |
Care between service visits
Keep the cavity clean with manufacturer-approved methods and use containers suitable for the chosen mode. Never run the oven empty, bypass a door switch, remove its cover or attempt capacitor discharge. Unplugging does not make the internal high-voltage circuit safe.
Keep the model label, purchase details and any previous repair invoice available. Explain when the problem began, whether it follows a particular programme, and whether another repair has already been attempted. These details help avoid repeating work and support a more useful estimate.

Brands & model enquiries
Choose a brand to prepare a model-specific enquiry. Listing a name does not guarantee support for every product, imported variant or discontinued model. Parts and repair feasibility are confirmed after checking the exact model.

Charges and repair feasibility
Visits start at ₹500, with the applicable charge confirmed before booking. The repair estimate depends on diagnosis, component availability and access. For an older or uncommon Kenstar model, ask about part compatibility, expected lead time and the total cost before approving work. No manufacturer warranty, genuine-part claim or repair guarantee is implied by this page.
