Start with the model, not a guessed part
Have the complete iMEE model number, approximate age and purchase or previous repair details ready. A brand name can cover very different designs, specifications and regional variants. Tell us whether the issue is constant or intermittent and which controls, lights or error codes appear.
We will discuss whether an inspection is appropriate for your appliance and location. Listing iMEE here is an invitation to enquire, not a claim that every product or part is supported. Warranty work and manufacturer schemes should be taken up with the manufacturer.
Air conditioner types we can discuss
Window AC
A single cabinet holds the cooling and outdoor sections. Inspection covers the filter, coils, fan, drain path and mounting. A noisy unit may need mounting or fan checks before any compressor work is proposed.
Split AC
Indoor and outdoor units are connected by refrigerant pipes and wiring. Airflow, indoor drainage, outdoor ventilation and pipe condition all matter. Share whether the indoor fan runs and whether the outdoor unit starts.
Inverter AC
The compressor changes speed to match demand. Sensors, supply conditions, electronics and refrigerant performance must be considered together. An error display is a diagnostic clue, not automatic proof that a circuit board needs replacement.
Cassette AC
Ceiling access, drainage pumps and multiple air outlets make a site assessment useful. Tell us the ceiling height and access restrictions when you call. Removal or specialist access is discussed before booking.
What the service may include
Jet cleaning
Controlled cleaning of accessible coils and blower areas can help when dust restricts airflow. Electronics must be protected and pressure chosen to avoid damaging fins. Cleaning does not repair a refrigerant leak or a failed compressor.
Chemical cleaning
Heavy contamination may need a material-compatible cleaning agent after inspection. It is not automatically required at every service. Ask what will be cleaned, how residue is rinsed and whether dismantling is included.
Cooling and leak diagnosis
A technician assesses airflow and refrigeration performance before recommending gas charging. Refrigerant is a sealed-system working fluid, not a routine top-up consumable. A suspected leak needs investigation and the correct refrigerant and charge.
Drainage, installation and electrical work
Drain blockage, poor slope, damaged insulation, fan faults and connection problems can cause different symptoms. Relocation or installation is quoted separately after checking mounting, pipe length, electrical supply and safe outdoor access.
Symptoms, safe checks and diagnosis
| What you notice | Safe first step | What may need inspection |
|---|---|---|
| Runs but does not cool | Check cooling mode and temperature; keep doors closed and confirm accessible filters are clean. | Airflow restriction, outdoor heat rejection, sensors and the sealed circuit need separate checks. |
| Water from the indoor unit | Stop use if water approaches sockets or electronics. Note where the leak begins. | Drain blockage, slope, icing and insulation are inspected. |
| Trips or smells burnt | Stop using the unit; isolate power only if it is safe to do so. | Electrical faults require a technician; do not keep resetting the breaker. |
| Ice or unusual vibration | Switch off cooling and describe the location of ice or noise. | Airflow, fan condition, mounting and refrigerant performance are assessed. |
Care between service visits
Clean only filters designated as user-removable in your manual, with the power isolated. Let them dry before refitting. Leave outdoor ventilation clear, avoid spraying electrical areas and arrange a service when cooling or drainage changes. Never open refrigerant pipes yourself.
Keep the model label, purchase details and any previous repair invoice available. Explain when the problem began, whether it follows a particular programme, and whether another repair has already been attempted. These details help avoid repeating work and support a more useful estimate.

Brands & model enquiries
Choose a brand to prepare a model-specific enquiry. Listing a name does not guarantee support for every product, imported variant or discontinued model. Parts and repair feasibility are confirmed after checking the exact model.

Charges and repair feasibility
Visits start at ₹500, with the applicable charge confirmed before booking. The repair estimate depends on diagnosis, component availability and access. For an older or uncommon iMEE model, ask about part compatibility, expected lead time and the total cost before approving work. No manufacturer warranty, genuine-part claim or repair guarantee is implied by this page.
Common questions
Are you an authorised brand service centre?
No. Repair Service India is an independent service provider. We offer private, chargeable repair assistance for out-of-warranty appliances. Brand names identify the appliance only; there is no claimed manufacturer affiliation.
What does a visit cost?
Visiting charges start at ₹500. Ask for the applicable visit charge for your location before confirming. Repair labour, spare parts, transport, access work and any applicable tax are discussed separately; do not assume they are included in the starting visit charge.
Can I book without WhatsApp or email?
Yes. Call 8619988910 or 9413778916 to explain your problem. Share the appliance type, model, locality and PIN code. We confirm availability and the next step by phone.
